I am pastor of First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, in Norwood Massachusetts. FCC|Norwood is a community-oriented, active congregation characterized by ministries of hospitality, welcome and music. Prior to ministry, from early 80s to the late 90s, I worked in advertising which, surprisingly, is excellent preparation for ministry. And I have always played music, from going on the road with Phoebe Snow’s Band right after college to working in as a staff songwriter in Nashville to playing hotel piano bars to singing in church. I have just released a CD, “Zero 2 Sixty,” which attempts to summarize this somewhat strange path from stage to boardroom to pulpit.
